This body oil comes in a 100ml glass bottle. The oil is relatively light and is easy to apply to the body. The skin feels soft and smooth and really nourished after massaging it in. The body oil is absorbed very quickly without leaving a film. But of course as with all oils it’s better to use less. It’s very easy to apply because of the dispenser.

I don’t know how others feel but I love the smell of coconuts. It’s really amazing even after hours of application there is still a light smell of coconut on the skin. This is a gorgeous smell especially for summer.

The oil is very good value considering the well-chosen ingredients, which really nourish your skin. At the moment this is one of my favourite products.

And a definite re-bye body oil for me.

Dieses Körperöl kommt in einer 100ml Glasflasche. Das Öl ist relativ dünnflüssig, läßt sich dadurch aber sehr gut in die Haut einmassieren. Die Haut fühlt sich sehr glatt und gepflegt an, nachdem man das Öl einmassiert hat. Das Öl zieht relativ schnell und hinterlässt auch keinen Film. Wichtig natürlich, dass man nicht zu viel benutzt. Durch den praktischen Spender ist es leicht zu benutzen, weil man es einfach auf der Ablage stehen lassen kann.

Weiß nicht, wie es den meisten geht, aber ich persönlich liebe den Duft von Kokos. Erstaunlich ist, dass man selbst nach Stunden noch einen leichten Duft von Kokos auf der Haut wahrnehmen kann. Ein wundervoller Duft speziell für den Sommer.

Das Öl ist sehr preisgünstig, besonders wenn man bedenkt, dass es nur ausgewählte Inhaltsstoffe enthählt, die den Körper pflegen. Zur Zeit ist das einer meiner Lieblingsprodukte.

Für mich ein absolutes Nachkaufprodukt.

Dieses Körperöl kommt in einer 75ml Flasche. Das Ö list sehr sehr reichhaltig und “dick”. Jedoch fühlt sich die Haut sehr glatt und gepflegt an, nachdem man das Öl einmassiert hat. Durch den Spender ist es leicht zu benutzen.

Allerdings muss ich ehrlich zugeben, dass mir der Geruch des Öls nicht so gut gefällt. Es riecht sehr pflanzlich und “gesund”. Meinen Mann hat der Geruch an Reinigungsmittel erinnert.

Leider ist das Öl auch nicht sehr wirtschaftlich, d.h. es verbraucht sich sehr schnell, aber das hängt wahrscheinlich damit zusammen, dass es relative dickflüssig ist.

Angeblich soll das Körperöl auch Dehnungs- und Schwangerschaftstreifen minimieren, aber ich habe das Öl nicht lange genug benutzt, um einen Unterschied feststellen zu können.

Aber wer seinen Körper mal hin und wieder richtig verwöhnen möchte, sollte dieses Körperöl kaufen so lange man sich nicht an dem Geruch stört.

This body oil comes in a bottle of 75ml. The oil is very very rich and “thick”. The skin feels smooth and nourished after massaging it in. It’s easy to apply because of its dispenser.

I must admit that I’m not very keen on its smell. It smells very herbal and “healthy”. My husband thought it smells like a cleaning product.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s very economical either. I think that might be because of its richness.

Apparently, the oil is supposed to minimise the appearance of stretch marks. I didn’t use it long enough to notice any difference.

But if you want to spoil your skin with natural ingredients, this is definitely a body oil to go for as long as you enjoy the smell.

Some time ago I’ve got this hand balm as a present from a family member. The balm comes in a tube of 75ml and lasts really a long time as you only need a small amount.  

The hand balm is white and has a real pleasant smell. It’s very rich and the hands feel smooth and nourished. It’s very easy to apply and spread. And the balm is absorbed very quickly without leaving a “film”.

It’s very economical as you need only a small amount, which justifies the price.   

The design of the tube gives the impression that the balm is very natural. However, there two ingredients, which sound the warning bells: methylparaben und propylparaben. In studies it was shown that paraben is able to mimic the hormone estrogen (oestrogen). Some paraben are known to drive the growth of tumours.   Scientists also found paraben in samples of breast cancer tumours.  

Everyone has to decide for oneself how much you can expect of your body until more tests have been made to prove that paraben is safe.

Habe diesen Handbalsam vor einer ganzen Weile von einem Familienmitglied geschenkt bekommen. Der Balsam kommt in einer 75ml Tube und hält ewig, da man den Balsam ganz sparsam gebrauchen sollte.

Die Handcreme ist weiß und hat einen angenehmen Duft. Das ist ein absolut reichhaltiger Handbalsam, der die Hände zart und gepflegt anfühlen lässt. Der Balsam zieht sehr schnell ein, ohne einen “Film” zu hinterlassen.  Er ist sehr sparsam im Verbrauch, da man nur sehr wenig benötigt.

Da der Handbalsam so ergiebig ist, lässt sich der Kaufpreis auch rechtfertigen.

Die Aufmachung der Tube sieht richtig natürlich und biologisch aus. Allerdings enthält dieser Handbalsam zwei Bestandteile, die bei mir die Alarmglocken klingen lassen: Methylparaben und Propylparaben. In Versuchen wurde gezeigt, dass Paraben die Fähigkeit hat, das Hormon Estrogene (Östrogene) nachzuahmen. Einige Estrogenformen sind dafür bekannt den Tumorwachstum voranzutreiben. Paraben wurde auch in kleinen Untersuchsproben von Brustkrebspatientinnen nachgewiesen.

Hier muss jeder selbst entscheiden, wieviel sie/er ihrem/seinem Körper zumuten kann bis mehr Tests gemacht wurden, wie sicher Paraben ist.

New Lash Power Feathering Mascara by Clinique

Wow, what a mascara! You can buy it in black onyx or dark chocolate. I went for the black one. I’m using my new mascara now for a week. And I absolutely love it. The brush is relatively soft and the “bristles” are densely arranged.  The result is just amazing even after only one coat. My eye lashes look dense and longer and really enhance my eyes wonderfully.  My eyes look bigger and more expressive. I usually have very sensitive eyes but I didn’t have any problems wearing this formula. It lasted all day without smudging. It’s very easy to apply without clumping thanks to the chunky wand. It perfectly separates and coats every single eyelash. It doesn’t flake even after hours of wear.

I’m not quite sure if the brush is suitable for the bottom lashes – just because of its size. I have to admit that I use the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara because I always have problems applying mascara to the bottom eyelashes.

One of the ingredients is Pullulan, which gives the formula its honey-like consistence and lengthen the eyelashes.

Apparently you can get the mascara just with warm water off. I didn’t try as I always wear eye shadow, too. So I use a makeup remover.

This mascara contains no paraben, which is really good news. Some other of the ingredients might give reason to some concern: Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163) harbours a risk of poising (so don’t eat it). Chromium Hydroxide Green (CI 77289) and Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288) contain Chrome. Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140) also known as Tartrazine can cause allergic reaction as migraines, itching, etc. in some people. Chlorphenesin  is a synthetic preservative. The major adverse effect from this preservative on skin is allergic contact sensitivity.

This is a mascara, which convinced me by its performance. It’s definitely a re-buy product as long as the ingredients agree with you and you don't use any other products containing Chrome.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion by Clinique

When I bought my new mascara by Clinique, I got a free 15ml sample of their lotion to try. That was really a piece of luck as I’m just on the lookout for a new moisturising lotion.  

My conclusion after 5 days testing... The lotion is light yellow and odourless. It’s very easy to apply and spread. It sinks instantly in and my skin felt nourished. I’d say it;s specially suitable for matured and dry skin. It even seems to smooth out fine lines.

I already mentioned that lotion is absorbed very quickly, which is a big plus for me as this lotion is also suitable to wear directly as foundation for my make-up. You can even use it straight away with powder. The lotion is really economical, which justifies the price. It’s very important to mention that the lotion is fragrance-free. Fortunately, there is no paraben used in the new formula.

Clinique changed the formula. However, petrolatum is still used in this new mixture, which leaves me feeling uneasy about it. As the name suggests, it's made from petroleum (mineral oil), which can block the skin pores.

Neu Lash Power Feathering Mascara von Clinique

Wow, was für eine Mascara! Es gibt sie in black onyx oder dark chocolate. Ich habe mir die schwarze geholt. Habe die neue Mascara jetzt seit einer Woche täglich benutzt und liebe sie einfach. Die Bürste ist relativ weich und die “Härchen” sind dicht angeordnet. Das Ergebnis schon beim ersten Mal auftragen, ist einfach verblüffend. Die Wimpern sind dichter und länger und betonen meine Augen wundervoll. Sie wirken größer und ausdrucksvoller. Ich habe sehr empfindliche Augen und ich habe keine Probleme mit Cliniques Mascara. Die Wimpertusche hat bei mir den ganzen Tag gehalten ohne zu verwischen. Sie ist einfach aufzutragen ohne zu verkleben. Die einzeln Wimpern werden getrennt und beinah einzeln mit der Tusche umhüllt. Ich hatte auch kein Problem mit Bröseln oder Bröckeln – selbst nach Stunden nicht.

Bin mir nicht sicher, ob die Bürstenform auch für die unteren Wimpern - ganz allein durch ihre Größe geeignet ist. Muss aber ehrlicherweise  gestehen, dass ich daür sowieso die Bottom Lash Mascara verwende und deshalb nicht mal den Versuch unternommen habe.

Einer der Bestandteile ist Pullulan, was der Tusche eine honigartige Konsistenz gibt und die Wimpern verlängert.

Angeblich soll man die Wimperntusche mit warmem Wasser entfernen können. Da ich auch Lidschatten trage, habe ich es nicht versucht und meinen Makeup-Entferner benutzt.

Diese Mascara enthält kein Paraben – das ist die gute Nachricht! Aber einige andere Bestandteile sollten Grund zur Vorsicht geben: Bismuth Oxychloride (Ci 77163) birgt ein Vergiftungsrisiko (also nicht essen!). Chromium Hydroxide Green (CI 77289) und Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288) enthalten Chrom. Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140) ist ein Farbstoff, der auch als Tartrazine bekannt ist. In manchen Leuten kann der Farbstoff allergische Reaktionen hervorrufen wie Migräne Juckreiz usw. Chlorphenesin ist ein synthetisches Konservierungsmittel. Der größte Nebeneffekt, der durch dieses Konservierungsmittel ausgelöst werden kann, sind allergische Hautausschläge.

Eine Mascara, die mich persönlich durch ihr gutes Ergebnis überzeugt hat. Es ist auf alle Fälle ein Nachkaufprodukt, so lange man alle Inhaltsstoffe verträgt und man keine anderen Produkte benutzt, die Chrom enthalten.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion von Clinique

Als ich letztens eine neue Mascara von Clinique gekauft habe, bekam ich eine kleine 15ml Feuchtigkeitslotion zum Ausprobieren dazu. Das war natürlich ein günstiger Umstand, da ich im Augenblick sowieso auf der Suche nach einer neuen Pflegelotion bin.

Mein Fazit nach 5 Tagen testen... Die Lotion ist hellgelb und geruchsneutral. Sie lässt sich leicht auftragen und einfach verteilen. Sie zieht beinah augenblicklich in die Haut ein und die Haut fühlt sich dabei trotzdem genährt an. Ich würde sagen, dass sie besonders auch für die reifere Haut geeignet ist. Feine Linien scheinen sogar etwas ausgebügelt zu werden.

Ich erwähnte bereits, dass sie Creme sehr schnell einzieht, was für mich ein großer Pluspunkt ist, da die Clinique Lotion auch als Grundlage für mein Make-up geeignet ist; selbst unter Puder kann man sie verwenden.
Die Lotion ist auch sehr ergiebig, was dann vielleicht auch den Kaufpreis rechtfertigt. Sehr wichtig ist auch, dass sie parfümfrei ist. Und in der neuen Rezeptur wird auf Paraben glücklicherweise verzichtet.

Clinique hat die Rezeptur geändert. Allerdings wird noch immer Petrolatum in der neuen Mischung verwendet, was mir persönlich etwas Unbehagen bereitet. Petrolatum wird aus Erdöl hergestellt und kann die Hautporen verschließen.
